Skuh-ream!

I've heard all the warnings and grousing about Vista so when I got my new laptop a few months ago I braced for the worst. But I had little to no problems with it....until now....

I have an Nvidia graphics card (8600M GT) that, it seems, has a well known problem with Vista. It seems that the card will randomly have an issue with Vista and the screen will freeze for a moment, go black for a second and then return with the pop-up message, "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered".......it's maddeningly random and all my online searches have yielded no definitive resolution. Robert's out of town but he tells me he'll help me  try and fix it when he gets back tomorrow. Ugghh! I would never have made a good IT person because I  don't have the patience for this......:)
